This place is good. It is garden to come to a steak place and have something other than steak :-) The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. Recommend the poblano meatballs. Blackened redfish was a pleasant surprise. Bar area in the front. Large selection of wine and spirits. Music played is all Texas performers. We'll worth a visit for a splurge.

We had an incredible anniversary dinner at 1845 Taste Texas! I ordered the filet mignon, which was prepared perfectly—crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. Honestly, one of the best steaks I've ever had! My wife loved her salmon and the potatoes au gratin. We shared the trio to start, and she raved about the 1845 salad, calling it fantastic. The sides (brussels sprouts and jalapeño mac and cheese) were the perfect bold accompaniment to the meal. A huge shoutout to our servers, Makayla and Heather; they were attentive without being intrusive. I never even had to ask for a water refill! We will definitely be back.

We’ve now been to 1845 three times, and overall it’s a really nice restaurant. The staff is exceptional — shoutout to Jordan G 💯! The atmosphere is eclectic in the best way: warm, friendly, and inviting, with music that’s not too loud. Here’s the one thing I’d tweak: they try really hard with the food, and sometimes it feels like they’re trying a little too hard. I appreciate the focus on locally sourced proteins, but I’d love it if they eased up just a touch on the seasoning and let the steaks stand more on their own. That said, the filet/tenderloin is excellent — tender and full of flavor. The ribeye is beautifully marbled. The strip steak I had this visit was oddly tough (might have been a fluke), so I’ll definitely give it another shot. And whatever you do, don’t let anyone downplay the pork chop. It’s smoked to perfection and then grill-glazed — absolutely outstanding. My wife joked that it looked like it came straight out of a Flintstones cartoon. Come hungry!

Great service and great food. I was here for a work lunch in the private dining area. Everything was excellent but my favorite was most definitely the deep fried quail with a side of gravy. Porterhouse steak was excellent and had a great Smoky flavor. Most of the sides were good, but I would definitely not skip on the appetizers. Also there was a chicken dish. I don't really call the name of it but it was excellent as well. Their desserts were absolutely incredible. Especially the cheesecake and I don't even like cheesecake. Blueberry crumble was also amazing.

First time trying this place and it was beyond amazing! Dallas style with the charm and taste of Fort Worth. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable and provided amazing service. Being the first time, we got the sampler plate of appetizers and desserts along with our steaks. Did not disappoint! Top tier. 1845 took the number one spot for steakhouse in my book. 👏👏👏

I thought the meal tonight was good. Went with a group of about six people and everyone enjoyed their meal. I got the 30 ounce pork chop. Sometimes you can get a large piece of meat, but it doesn’t have good flavor. This pork chop had really good flavor and also came with a jam that you could use to dip it in, which was kind of different than what I ever done before but it was really good. As a side I got brussels sprouts which had good flavor so overall it was a really good meal.

The service here is top notch. If you are celebrating a special occasion and want to make someone feel special, bring them here. We came as a family to celebrate my birthday. Our server was attentive and great. Also the manager made sure everything was taken care of and checked on us often. We had the brisket queso to start, each got different entrees like different cuts of steaks and finished off with cobbler with ice cream. Food and service were excellent!

My partner and I stopped in here for our anniversary dinner this evening and had a lovely time. The atmosphere is clean and sophisticated without being too much, and the service we received was great. We were brought a bottle with lights in it to signify our special occasion. The waitress also did a lovely job at explaining their specialities to us at the beginning. We first tried the recommended pork belly appetizer, and it was delicious. The cook on the pork was perfect and the glaze was slightly sweet in a brown sugar sort of way. The bread tasted like butter with the texture of a roll. I got the 14 oz ribeye with asparagus, and it was very good. The cook and texture on it was incredible. My only minor criticism was it being a little over salty. My bf got the prime rib, and it tasted perfectly like fatty brisket with prime rib texture. He also very much loved his au gratin. We shared the double chocolate as dessert. Note that it wasn’t complimentary, but they did put a sparkler in it. Very sweet and rich brownie cheesecake combo with vanilla ice cream. It was decent but we were also very full by this point! Overall a great place for a nice meal for a special occasion.

Tried 1845 for the first time and I’m honestly mad I’m just now discovering it I’m a picky eater, so when I say EVERYTHING was good… I mean it. I started with the poblano meatballs and wow, so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, almost had that grilled taste . For drinks, I had a lemon drop martini and it did not disappoint. For my meal, I ordered the chicken fried chicken and baby… BEST I’ve ever had. The crust was seasoned perfectly, not too hard, and the chicken was juicy. I also tried the smothered chicken, just as good. And dessert?! Peach cobbler with a snickerdoodle cookie crust… hands down the best I’ve ever had. No notes. Shoutout to our waitress Heather, she was so sweet, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The manager Chris also came by a few times to check on us, which I really appreciated. 10/10 experience. I will definitely be back and telling everyone about this place!

I’ve been to many steakhouses in my lifetime, from fine steakhouses to mom and pops, 1845 is easily in my top 3. We ordered the taste of Texas appetizer tray served on a butcher board with meatballs, fried quail, fried jalepenos and toasted bread topped smoked pork belly. The quail and pork belly toast were terrific, the meatballs were a little bit too sweet from the sauce. The jalapeños were pretty good. We ordered the Caesar salad, and that was made perfectly, not too heavy on the dressing and cheese, it was light and flavorful. We also ordered the ribeye steak and smoked prime rib….The steak was seasoned perfectly, cooked to perfection medium rare and it was so tender, juicy and soft, it literally flopped over like a slice of slow smoked brisket….the prime rib was pretty good also, had a strong smoke flavor but didn’t over power the meat. The service from Emilio was excellent, the hospitality from the hostesses and even the general manager was excellent. We will definitely be coming back when we visit the Dallas/Fort Worth area again 👍💯
